A WORDS Event: An Evening with Ann Cleeves

Ann Cleeves, the author of two of the most popular TV series, Shetland and Vera, will talk about her books and adaptations and also about her latest best seller, The Long Call, the first book in a Devon based series now also in development for television with Silverprint Pictures.

Peter Lloyd: From Script to Screen

Peter Lloyd, Series Producer of the multi-award-winning BBC daytime drama series Doctors, which celebrates its twentieth birthday in March, will talk about the process of bringing the daily show to the screen.

Peter was educated at South Bromsgrove High School and Aberystwyth University. He joined the BBC at Pebble Mill in 1997 and has worked as Script Editor on Dalziel and Pascoe, Dangerfield, The Scarlet Pimpernel and two series of the Afternoon Plays.

Free parking is available in the main school car park, accessed via Worcester Road. The postcode for Sat Nav is B61 7HP.  There is a short walk from the car park to the venue and transport will be available if required. Signage from the car park to the Library and Resources Centre will be displayed as "LRC".
