Poetry has been always an important part of our Programming and we are pleased to welcome two well known Black Country Poets to WORDS as part of The 2023 Bromsgrove Festival.

Emma Purshouse and Johnny “ Mogs “ Morris will recite a selection of their work in “ Black Country Poetry Brunchtime at “ The Dry Spy “ ( 12, St John’s Street, Bromsgrove, B61 8QY ) at 11.00.a.m. on Thursday, June 29th.

This is a free event - admission is by ticket only - as we are constrained in numbers and thus we will be issuing only 50 Tickets.

The venue will be open from 10.30.a.m and tea / coffee will be available to purchase.

If you would like to join us, then please email Pam Yarwood - yarwoodpam@gmail.com - and she will email your tickets to you so that you can print them off.

If you don’t have access to a printer, then send a S.A.E. to WORDS, “ Forest Becks “, Adams Hill, Stourbridge, DY9 9PS and your tickets will be posted to you.
