"The Marchesa" with Sarah Dunant

Sarah Dunant studied history at Newnham College, Cambridge, and went on to be a Writer, Broadcaster, Teacher and Critic. She has written thirteen novels, four of which have been shortlisted for Awards, and was a founding Vice Patron of “ The Women’s Prize for Fiction “ in the United Kingdom.

Having cut her teeth writing thrillers, in 2000 she returned to her first love - History and the Italian Renaissance, and her most recent book, “ The Marchesa “, brings alive the life and times of the First Lady of the Renaissance, the art collector and political manipulator, Isabella d’Este. Sarah will be speaking in The Studio at Artrix, Slideslow Drive, Bromsgrove, B60 1GN at 7.30.p.m on Wednesday, April 22nd - there is free parking.

Tickets are £15 each, plus a £1.25 booking fee per ticket, and can be
